He has extensive project management experience, is involved in a number of European projects and has acted as a domain-expert consultant for the European Commission. Originally from Hawkes Bay, he became involved with HPC through the University of Canterbury’s BlueFern project. Colin is a mechanical engineer who studied to postgraduate level and has been working in IT for more than 25 years. He also worked as an engineering consultant in the mid-1990s, helping to run a successful engineering consulting company with a colleague . He has an entrepreneurial spirit and is always looking for creative solutions to technical problems.
